CA

A CA is a Chartered Accountant and is the qualification gained through the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS). It is a highly regarded qualification which will offer you a rewarding, diverse career that is full of opportunity.

ICAS was the world’s first professional body of accountants and unlike other professional bodies in the UK, ICAS both trains and sets the exams for all its students.

To qualify as a CA, you must complete a three year training programme, which combines a mixture of practical classroom-based study and exams, and supervised work-based training. This broad based qualification provides you with excellent grounding in accounting, financial reporting, auditing and business management.

Trainees will be exposed to a wide range of challenging client needs which will allow trainees to gain invaluable experience.
It is a challenging qualification which demands a lot of hard work, commitment and determination. However, once qualified your CA qualification will be recognised as a sign of quality, commercial acumen and professionalism and will offer you a huge opportunity for success.
