ACCA training
The Birmingham office provides full support, study leave and tuition costs, for the first attempt at all the exams and assessments that are required to pass the ACCA qualification. With first time passes it takes 3 years to complete your studies. The tuition is given by one of the leading external providers.
By the end of your first year you can expect to:
- have received a weeks training in basic bookkeeping and accountancy that should equip you for undertaking the basis elements of the job;
- be attending courses of varying levels from leading external providers to enable you to pass the first stage of your professional examinations;
- have worked on small bookkeeping jobs and large consultancy assignments assisted by more senior members of staff.
By the end of your second year you can expect to:
- be involved in explaining to more junior members of staff what work needs doing and the purpose of that work;
- be working on basic consultancy assignments independently, or with a team if the consultancy assignment is more complex;
- be assisting our clients’ staff in financial management and project roles.
By the end of your third year you can expect to:
- be supervising a team of less experienced trainees;
- have successfully lead the completion of basic consultancy assignments;
- be taking a more productive and creative role in consultancy assignments of a more complex nature.
