The Welsh Graduate Experience
Historically UHY Peacheys have recruited 2-3 graduates a year. You’ll get the chance to develop specialist skills and expertise, and then use that knowledge throughout your training. The firm recruits Trainee Certified Accountants to take on three year training courses and study towards ACCA . Work experience includes exposure to management accounts, financial statements, company audits and VAT returns. The majority of our work is undertaken at the clients' location, although some do like to visit our offices as well.
From your first day you can expect exposure to clients, and challenges that will help you develop the skills you need to succeed as a Certified Accountant. We’ll support you every way we can with high-quality training both in technical areas and soft skills, including presentation and negotiation skills, and effective communication. All of this will help you through your first few years and to guide you through those years, a recently-qualified trainee will act as your mentor, while a Counselling Partner will have overall responsibility for your development.
